Apprenticeship at Rommel

Rommel GmbH welcomes seven new trainees in 2011. In total there are now 22 young people currently participating in a qualified Rommel apprenticeship in technical as well as commercial fields. Our portfolio encompasses the following professions:

Mechanical engineer – specialization machinery
Electronic technician – specialization automation technology
Logistics technician
Design draftsman – specialization machinery and system engineering
Clerk

New scan station by ROMMEL GmbH

The ROMMEL GmbH, system partner for marking, traceability, solar and automation solutions, launches the new scan station WL 500 ID-PS for reading of various codes on PCBs or optionally other devices.

ROMMEL Budget Agreement

A Budget Agreement is the pre-financing of the expected operating costs without fixing of type of services. The later costs incurred will be deducted from the budget and a statement will be provided for best transparency. Instead of investing money at a bank and receiving interest you could prepay Rommel service products and receive an extra-ordinary bonus as interest.

Marking of electronic components

Despite the economic slump, JUMO has invested in a future-oriented laser marking system for electronic components. Traceability and the labeling of components do away with a product's anonymity and the different companies or even continents involved will be made transparent.

The "Traveling Salesman" principle, which has its origin in logistics, is becoming more and more important in the marking of printed circuit boards (PCBs). It reduces the cycle time of a production line and thus lowers the cost per workpiece.
