Harman International, a worldwide active company in the area of car audio and infotainment systems, has invested in its Hungarian factory in Szekefehervar into a complete SMD line, whos process units have been linked with 19 ROMMEL modules. In addition, the ROMMEL labeling station WL 2001 TT with two thermal transfer printers cares about the necessary traceability within the line.
With this order, Harman International already receives its third line from ROMMEL within 2010. Since years, Harman trusts in ROMMEL as a proven SMD solution partner. There are requirements on the system supplier in regard to highest productivity, availability and reliability. ROMMEL enables Harman International to fulfil these requirements in a cost-efficient way. A further advantage is the ESD capability of all ROMMEL modules and process stations at highest quality.
Due to ROMMEL’s line control concept and the existing interfaces – on machine side and concerning contact persons between both companies – the new line could be implemented within only four weeks from order to operation.
